Musa saves Leicester against Tottenham

Super Eagles assistant captain Ahmed Musa’s bundled goal snatched Leicester a 1-1 Premier League draw at Tottenham.

Spurs extended their record unbeaten start to the Premier League to 10 games, courtesy of Vincent Janssen’s penalty.

But Mauricio Pochettino’s men will have been fustrated not to claim all three points, especially with Victor Wanyama’s error helping tee up the Foxes’ equaliser.

The Spurs left-back marked Riyad Mahrez out of the match, allied to producing his customary raids in attack.

Tottenham’s Victor Wanyama thought he was cleaning up by nodding back a routine header to one of his defenders, or maybe even goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Instead the Kenya midfielder gift-wrapped a run on goal for the ever-lurking Jamie Vardy, whose cross was powered home by Musa at the far post.

Musa’s strike for Leicester was the first goal from open play that Tottenham have conceded in the Premier League this season.
