The Nigeria Football Federation Technical Committee members has warned the leadership of the NFF board to ratify their recommendation of sacking Super Eagles coach,Sunday Oliseh, while maintaining they won’t rescind their resignation decisions.

Chairman of the Technical Committee, Barrister Chris Green, who confirmed the resignation of his members, said he has appealed to his members to rescind their decision to resign.

“It is true that they are not keen to work again but I am prevailing on them to think twice because of their love and passion for the game and patriotism for the country. They cannot be treated with levity. They are heavyweights on their own and they are not paid a dime for their services”, Green said.

A member of the committee revealed that the Sport Minister, Barister Solomon Dalung, should be ready to take responsibility if the Super Eagles fail to qualify for the 2017 AFCON billed for Gabon.

“The NFF president and Sports Minister should be ready to face the wrath of Nigerians if the Super Eagles don’t qualify for the Nations Cup because Oliseh has shown that he lacks the capacity to lead the Eagles to glory,” he said preferring his name is not mentioned.

The technical committee which is made up of former Super Eagles coach, Christian Chukwu, foremost FIFA and CAF instructor, Paul Bassey, ex-Super Eagles trio of Victor Ikpeba, Mutiu Adepoju and Garba Lawal, on Wednesday resigned their appointments following the ‘mishandling’ of the Sunday Oliseh’s case by the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick.

After the now infamous ‘insane’ attack on Nigerians by Oliseh on YouTube, the NFF had referred the case to the Technical Committee to recommend penalties to be meted out to the loquacious coach.

The committee members after exhaustive deliberations were utterly disappointed that Pinnick jettisoned their report and instead ran to the Youth and Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, who saved the embattled coach by asking for a second chance for him.
