The 26-years old on Tuesday promised to bounce back in the 200m race after her dismal performance in the 100m race won by Jamaica’a Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

Okagbare who won gold in the 100m and 200m at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow last summer, had been one of the favourites for both sprint titles.

The Delta born athlete also won bronze in the 200m in the 2013 championships in Moscow, where she also secured silver in the long jump.
