The election appeal, it said, “will hold from Monday, August 29 to Thursday, September 1.”

However, an earlier report by Ripples Nigeria noted that chieftains of the APC, may have already settled for Senator Ajayi Boroffice as their party’s candidate.

While feelers from the state indicate that there are just two frontline candidates out of the over 30 aspirants for the APC ticket, who are Rotimi Akeredolu, a former President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) and one time Attorney General of the state, and Boroffice, a two term Senator, and current Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, sources close to Ripples Nigeria, say the party hierarchy may have settled for Senator Boroffice, a professor of Zoology.
