The trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Justice Walter Onnoghen at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) commenced on Monday as scheduled.
Justice Onnoghen was however absent at the proceedings, even as he challenged the jurisdiction of the tribunal to try the case against him.
The Chief judge of the federation had 89 lawyers who stood in his defense.
