Osimhen elated after scooping Ligue 1 Player award for September
Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen is full of gratitude to his fans and teammates after he bagged the Ligue 1 player of the month award.
The 20-year-old Lille star was crowned the best player for September by the French top-flight following an incredible performance for Lille.
Osimhen, who scored two goals and recorded two assists in four league appearances in the month, beat Monaco’s Islam Slimani and Nantes’ Nicolas Pallois to the award.

The Nigeria International won 45% of the vote to place first ahead of Slimani (37%) and Pallois (18%).

Osimhen is expected to be in action when Lille play against Toulouse this weekend.
