Oyo Police parade 2 ex-prisoners for robbing students’ hostel

The Oyo State Police Command, on Monday, paraded two ex-convicts, for allegedly robbing students at a hostel of the Special Federal College of Education, Akinmoorin, near Oyo town.

The state Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu told news men that the suspects who were released from Abolongo Prison in April, were accompanied by three others who invaded the hostel.

According to him, the hoodlums, who were armed with guns, cutlasses and other dangerous weapons, robbed some of the students of their money, laptops, cell phones and other valuable items.

All suspects were arrested after confessing to the crime and will be charged to court after proper investigation.
