Police out for masked woman in viral video, dangles N1m bounty for info on her

The sum of N1 million has been offered by the Lagos State Police Command as reward for whoever has useful information that will lead to the arrest of a masked woman who alleged that a certain policemen, Inspector Christopher Nabugwu, is living a life of opulence.

A statement by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, revealed that the claims made by the masked woman has forced Inspector General of the Nigerian Police to launch an investigation into the allegations made by the said masked woman.

The statement issued by Oti reads thus; “Investigation into the matter was painstakingly carried out. At the end of the probe, it was clear that the allegations were not only false and misleading, but a calculated attempt to malign the name of a hard-working police officer and embarrass the police authorities.”

In the video which has now gone viral, the masked woman alleged that Inspector Nabugwu, was living in affluence.

She added that Inspector Nabugwu who uses exotic cars is worth over N2bn in cash and assets, while she also noted that he owned a building on 27 Remi Fani-Kayode Street, GRA, Ikeja, worth N250m.
