Police recovers Fred Amata’s stolen car

Men of the Nigerian police have been able to recover the stolen Lexus SUV belonging to Nollywood veteran actor cum director, Fred Amata which was stolen from the thespian on Saturday 25th of June.
The excited fair skinned actor took to his Instagram page to express his gratitude to the Lagos State Police Command and by extension the Lagos State Government for the recovery of his vehicle.
“Recovered 4th July Lexus Jeep stolen Saturday June 25, 2016 at gun point. Sincere thanks to the Lagos police command led by the Gallant CP Fatai Owoseni who we understand put a personal call to the IPO, and the diligent state Police PRO Dolapo Badmus (SP) and of course the IPO, Woman Corporal Idowu Ayodele God Bless.
‘‘And thanks to the responsive government of Lagos state for better equipping the force for more effective policing of our state. Thanks to All my friends family and we’ll wishers for your prayers, goodwill messages and felicitations. Fred Amata” He wrote on the short video and picture sharing social media platform.
Recall that the newly elected Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN) President was robbed at gunpoint early in the morning of 25th July at 2.30am in front of the gate leading to his house.
Fred was dispossessed of his personal belongings including his now recovered Metallic Grey Lexus 470 SUV with license plate number AGL 414 CU and phones.
The robbers according to Fred’s narration bundled him into his car and dropped him at Fadeyi Bridge at some minutes to 3:00am after taking his shoes, following which the DGN President consequently filed a report to the police.
