PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE: Mixed-race moderator replies Daddy Freeze who labeled him a 'white Jesus'

British/Nigerian broadcaster, Mark Eddo has taken time out to reply radio personality Daddy Freeze after he described him as a ‘white Jesus’ for surprisingly anchoring the much publicised Presidential debate staged on Saturday January 19th, 2019.

Many Nigerians were miffed that the organizers of the debate had to settle for a ‘foreigner’ to serve as a moderator in the all important Nigerian presidential debate which precedes the forthcoming general elections.

During the course of the debate, the anchor, however disclosed that he is a Nigerian who had his primary and secondary school educations in public schools here in the country.

However, a Facebook critic identified as Joseph Abayomi who did not hear Mark’s comments about his Nigerian roots, posted on his page saying he is disappointed and it is a shame that a ”white man” was allowed to anchor the debate.

In his reply to Abayomi’s comments, Freeze wrote saying; “It is in the mind bro… Many Africans still pray to “white Jesus”.

The reply by Daddy Freeze to Abayomi’s comments did not go down well with Mark who replied the radio personality saying; “@DaddyFRZ: Hey my mixed-raced media bro. I am a big fan so sad YOU labeled me “white Jesus” considering you must face colourism too. I am Mark Omorowa Segun Eddo. Jakande schooled, Mile 2 raised, proud defender of Nigeria.”
