Rayce, Oritsefemi’s manager survive ghastly car crash
The Nigerian music industry has been saved of another costly tragedy after fast rising artiste Rayce and Danku (Oritsefemi’s manager) both escaped a ghastly car crash on their way to Lagos after a show in Illorin.
The incident according to reports occurred around Sango-Ota, on the outskirts of Lagos yesterday (Sunday) when a truck hit the car conveying Rayce, Danku, Ebony (Rayce’s label boss) and a body guard from behind.
Recounting the incident while in hospital, Danku said; ‘‘My brother, imagine we were coming from a show in Ilorin and nothing happened to us until we got to Sango. This Dangote truck just slammed into our car from behind and caused a ripple effect when we rammed into about four other cars.
‘‘Everyone in my car including Rayce sustained serious injuries; we are all in one hospital at Agege now. I’m not sure what’s wrong with me yet as we speak.” He added.
