Suit to compel the arrest and prosecution of Fani-Kayode, Abaribe, others set to commence

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that his recent claim that, if Vice President Yemi Osinbajo refused to resign, he would be sent to wash toilets would soon come to pass.

The former minister stated this in response to Osinbajo’s alleged launching of ‘Use the Toilet’ campaign.

President Muhammadu Buhari recently signed an Executive Order 009 entitled, ‘The Open Defecation-Free Nigeria by 2025 and Other Related Matters Order’ into law.

Fani-Kayode decried that Osinbajo was used to launch the campaign to stop open defecation across the country, at the same time President Muhammadu Buhari was having a Security Council meeting.

The former minister wrote on his verified Twitter account, @realFFK, “VP Yemi Osinbajo launches and flag off the Use The Toilet Campaign, a campaign to stop open defecation in Nigeria while Buhari is presiding over a security council meeting!

“A few days ago I wrote: “If Osinbajo doesn’t resign they will send him to wash toilets”. Almost there!”
