Ronaldo’s ‘explosive’ deal worries Bayern boss

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the club chairman of German League gaints, Bayern Munich, has admitted he is worried by the exorbitant wages top footballers are earning.

“Real Madrid have just renewed with three players, and (Christiano) Ronaldo now supposedly earns €20.5m after taxes,” Rummenigge said.

“There is not even a single player in the Bundesliga who makes that kind of money before taxes!”

As it can be recalled, Real Madrid only last week extended the contracts of star players Christiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos.

Ronaldo’s deal is worth £400,000 per week.
