Sani cautions Buhari’s govt not to fill prisons with critics, names those who should be in prisons

Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari not to fill prisons in the country with those speaking out against perceived failings of his administration.
He said Nigerian Government should rather fill prisons with criminal elements killing innocent Nigerians almost on a daily basis.
He stated this as part of his responses to the arrest of the presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC) in the last election, Omoyele Sowore, by men of the Department of State Security (DSS).
He wrote on his official Twitter handle, “Let not our Prisons be filled with those that speaketh but those that killeth.
“The voices of dissent are the heartbeat of democracy.
