Suicide! Man stops jeep on 3rd Mainland Bridge, jumps into the ocean

A man said to be a medical doctor and identified simply as Orji allegedly jumped from the Third Mainland Bridge into the lagoon and got drowned on Sunday evening.

It was learnt that the man stopped his driver, came out his Nissan SUV and jumped into the Lagoon.
Some witnesses who were at the scene reported the incidence via giditraffic twitter handle, with a video of symphatisers around another man believed to be his driver.

The man’s driver and the SUV, according to an eyewitness, have been taken to Adeniji Police Station by policemen from the station who visited the scene of the incident.

Lagos state Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and security operatives were at the scene trying to retrieve the body of the victim as at the time ofthis report.
