Two dead, 9 injured in Jigawa lone accident

Two persons died in a lone accident along the Birnin Kudu/Kano highway on Wednesday.

The spokesman for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the state, Yahaya Ibrahim, confirmed this to journalists in Dutse.

Ibrahim said a Volkswagen Golf car conveying 11 passengers was involved in the accident which occurred at 2:50 p.m., on the highway.

He added that nine others were injured in the crash.
