Ujah lifts Bremen over Cologne in German Cup

Super Eagles returnee striker, Anthony Ujah, Wednesday night broke the hearts of supporters of his former club Koln to seal Werder Bremen’s 1-0 win at the Weserstadion in a German Cup match.
Werder Bremen took the initiative early on against Köln but chances from Philipp Bargfrede and Anthony Ujah failed to find the target. Midway through the second half Ujah, the former Köln player, gave Werder a 1-0 lead. The visitors increased their attacking efforts after falling behind, but were unable to produce any clear chances before half-time.
