​Ndidi wins Leicester City Young Player award

Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred N​​didi has been named the Young Player of the Year at the Premier League club.

The former Genk star beat Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray to the award, and was handed the title during Leicester’s annual award gala held on Tuesday night.

Ndidi, who has been a key figure for the Foxes this season,​ was also nominated for the Players’ Player of the Season alongside Harry Maguire and James Vardy with Maguire going home with award.

Maguire also beat Ndidi and Vardy to the player of the season title​.

​Captain of the team, Wes Morgan, went home with the performance of the season prize.

Vardy’s superb volley against West Brom was voted the goal of the season

Ndidi has made 33 league appearances for the club with four assists to his name, and Leicester are currently ninth on the table with three games to go.
