2023: Nigeria needs wise President to forge ahead— Tinubu

A national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on Thursday promised to bring about the desired changes in Nigeria if elected President in 2023.

Tinubu, who stated this at a meeting with members of Ekiti Traditional Council, Ado-Ekiti, said Nigerians deserved a wise leader who would unite the people and take the country to its promised land.

He said: “For Nigeria to stand united and develop, we need great patience and wisdom. We have to be united, that is the only way we can be great.”

In his remark, the Onisan of Isan-Ekiti, Oba Gabriel Adejumo, said the constitution gives every qualified Nigerian the unchallenged liberty to aspire for any position.

He added that Nigeria required a leader with foresight and readiness to serve the people.
