Again, APC shifts Lagos governorship primary, changes gear for Enugu, Adamawa

The drama surrounding the conduct of the governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State is still ongoing.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the party has rescheduled governorship primaries in the Lagos, Enugu and Adamawa states.

This is the third time a date for the primary for Lagos is being fixed, a development many feel has an undertone.

According to a statement by Yekini Nabena, national publicity secretary, the mode of primaries for Enugu and Adamawa states has also been changed from indirect to direct Primaries.

The Lagos APC Governorship Primary will now Tuesday, October 2, 2018, while that of Enugu and Adamawa are now to hold on Thursday, October 4, 2018.

There has been high drama surrounding the Lagos APC governorship primary, as there are rumoured moves to deny the incumbent governor from clinching the party’s ticket.
