Apple’s bot rates Davido’s ‘Blow My Mind’ most popular song in the world

These are certainly good times for Nigerian singer Davido as his song titled ‘Blow My Mind’ was rated as the most popular song in the world by Apple.

In a now viral video, a man could be seen in an interactive session with Siri, (Apple’s virtual personal assistant) when he asked the bot to play the most popular song in the world, and surprisingly it played Davido’s ‘Blow My Mind’ featuring American pop star Chris Brown.

The voice-controlled personal assistant which was described by Apple as the best thing on the iPhone during the launch presentation has been around for several years now and first appeared on the iPhone 4S.

The latest rating comes days after Davido emerged as the richest Nigerian on social media platform Instagram with a single post valued at N26 million.

The DMW (Davido Music Worldwide) honcho mans the second position in Africa and occupies 38 position on global rating according to Instagram Rich List 2019 by Hopper HQ 2019.

The ‘Skelewu’ crooner also tops three other Nigerians who made the list including; Funke Akindele, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage.

The Rich List was arrived at based on internal HQ data, influencer rate cards and public information.

On Instagram, Davido has 11.8 million followers with each of his posts valued at 74,000 dollars, approximately 26 million naira.
