Atiku criticizes Buhari for asking Zamfara people to eat well so they can make trouble

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari for allegedly always preaching violence and asked Nigerians to reject him.

He said that Buhari had at the weekend during his campaign rally in Zamfara State allegedly called on the people to eat well so as to get ready to make trouble.

Atiku stated this while addressing a crowd of party supporters at PDP’s campaign rally at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, in Port Harcourt.

While, he preached peace during and after election, he assured that victory for him and his party  would guarantee “a restructured Nigeria”.

“When the President visited Zamfara, he said, let the people pray for rainfall, let the people pray for food so that they can eat well and make trouble. Is that what a President is supposed to say?

“Buhari was preaching violence and this is not the first time he has done so. We are not going to allow any person to make us fight; we want peace, development, prosperity and jobs in this country. Nigerians are going to vote a bad government out with their PVCs.

“If you elect me, I will restructure this country; if you vote for the PDP, we will complete the Onne seaport as well as the East-West road because it was the PDP government that initiated these projects, but the APC government has abandoned them.”

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, who was at the event, speaking said, “I asked Nigerians in 2015 to choose between going forward and going backward. All the indices of development are not in existent in this government. We are not making any progress as a country under this government.

“That is why Nigerians must come out on Saturday and vote for Atiku Abubakar as President and all PDP candidates.

“Atiku Abubakar will not discriminate against any section of Nigeria.”

“We were in Daura, the President’s hometown, the governor of Sokoto State here can confirm to you that the North-West is now fully Aticulated,” he said.
