Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit, Kwara United are set to unveil Abubakar Bala as their new Technical Adviser after sacking John Obuh over poor run.

Bala was appointed by the Ilorin side on Tuesday to take over from Obuh, who was relieved of his post on Monday.

The former Flying Eagles head coach, Obuh guided the club back to the top flight after two seasons in the second-tier, Nigeria National League (NNL).

But they have struggled to make an impact on their return, as they currently sit bottom of the table with 11 points from 12 games.

The new technical adviser, Bala is a former Niger Tornadoes boss; he guided the team to the final of the Aiteo Cup last year before being replaced at the start of this season.

Bala, whose immediate task would be to improve the fortunes of his new team, will be unveiled on Wednesday at the conference room of the indoor sports hall of the Kwara Sports Complex.
