#BBNAIJA 2019 AUDITIONS: Hard Knocks for organisers as lady claims she almost died in a stampede

Auditions for the 2019 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show has started in earnest with critics slamming the organisers for being unable to control the horde of wannabe stars who came in their numbers for screening at various centres.

Reports say the organisers were somewhat overwhelmed with the huge number of young Nigerians who stormed audition centres with many blaming ASUU strike, joblessness and the government for the massive turn out at screening centres.

In a particular incident, a young Nigerian who was tired of waiting to be auditioned outside the centre, reportedly stripped to his underparts as he tried to scale the fence to get into the centre.

Also a lady identified as Ujunwa has taken to social media to describe how she was almost killed in a stampede after she decided to audition at one of the centres.

According to her, there was a sudden stampede at her centre as she fell to the ground while other contestants trampled upon her in the melee.

Ujunwa said it took the intervention of her friend and a security operative who rescued her during the confusion at the location.

She shared her experience on Instagram via her handle @livinglifemaeay ; “#BBNaija, this people pushed me down and walked over at the audition center, I had to scream and call for security to help me. I thought I was going to die, why is this country so hard?? Me and my friend almost died because we went for BB Audition.
