BRAZIL 2019: Golden Eaglets to battle Netherlands in second round

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria will face their Netherlands counterparts in the round of 16 of the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup holding in Brazil.

The Eaglets finished top of Group B after two victories and one defeat, and is set to play against one of the four best third-placed teams.

The Netherlands finished third in Group D, and could be less tough for the Manu Garba’s team, who are gunning for a sixth title in the competition.

The encounter will hold at the Estadio Olimpico, Goiania where the Eaglets played their opening two games in the competition against Hungary and Ecuador.

The game will be played on Wednesday, by 12:00 midnight (Nigeria time).

The winner of the contest will take on either Paraguay or Argentina in the quarter-final.
