Buhari may return from London this weekend

Barring any other unforeseen circumstances, President Muhammadu Buhari may be heading home from his medical leave this weekend, Presidency sources told Reuters on Tuesday.

Some other sources said the news of the President’s anticipated return may delay the planned signing of Nigeria’s 2017 Budget on Thursday by Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo.

Buhari traveled to Britain on May 7 in relation for an undisclosed ailment and handed over power to his deputy, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, who has been piloting the affairs of the country.
