Buhari’s aide suspects Patience Jonathan is brain behind Niger Delta Avengers

President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide, Lauretta Onochie, has suggested that former President Goodluck Jonathan’s wife, Patience is the person sponsoring the militants group, Niger Delta Avengers (NDA).

Onochie, who is Buhari’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, apparently in response to declaration by NDA on Wednesday that they would resume attacks on oil installations soon, took to her twitter handle to suggest that it was possible the former First Lady is the one behind the militant group.

According to Onochie, there could be more to it than a coincidence that soon after property said to belong to Mrs. Jonathan was demolished in Abuja, the NDA announced its decision to resume hostilities on oil installations.

She wrote, “CO-INCIDENCE?

“A property being developed by Mrs Patience Jonathan without the required permit from FCDA (Federal Capital Development Control Department) was demolished, as is the custom across the world. Within hours, Niger Delta Avengers threatened to resume hostilities to blow up pipelines.

FCDA had on Tuesday demolished the property said to belong to the former First Lady located on Shehu Yar’Adua Way, along Mabushi–Kado–Life Camp Expressway, Abuja.
