Chelsea beat Palace 1-0 to hit 11 straight wins

English Premier League leaders Chelsea FC have extended their winning streak to 11 consecutive games, as they thumped Crystal Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Stadium on Saturday.

The only goal of the game, which came few minutes before half time, was a header from Diego Costa – who will be missing their next match due to a booking.

Crystal Palace dealt with Chelsea pretty well in the first 45 minutes, and moreso in the last 45, but one unplayable moment of attacking prowess by Diego Costa gave the Blues the deserved triumph.

Saturday’s win meant that Chelsea remain league leaders with nine whole points clear of second-placed Arsenal, until the gunners face Manchester City on Sunday in their crucial match-day 17 fixture.
