Justice Ibrahim Buba, of the Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered men of the Nigerian Police to remove operatives of the NDLEA from the Lagos residence of the senator-elect for Ogun East Senatorial District, Mr. Buruji Kashamu.

The judge however noted that the order should be carried out “without a free for all.”

The NDLEA operatives had stormed Kashamu’s house early Saturday morning purportedly to carry out a formal request for his extradition to the U.S to face criminal charges.

But Justice Buba, in a bench ruling on Tuesday afternoon, pronounced the NDLEA action as sub judice and ordered that they vacate Kashamu’s premises.
