In a bid to halt the spread of coronavirus in Ekiti State, Governor Kayode Fayemi Wednesday ordered the closure of all non-essential commodities markets in the state effective Thursday.

The governor said in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, the markets that would be allowed to open for business are those dealing in foodstuff, medical equipment, and water.
