NIGER: Two APC senators can’t return to NASS

There seems to be no end to the gale of defections as the deputy chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has led 6208 members to the Action Democratic Party (ADP).

The defectors were led by the deputy state chairman of the party, Azeez Adesiji, who led eight other members of the state executive committee to the ADP.

Others are Tajudeen Agbeti, ex officio, Ademola Bamidele, state auditor, Rasheed Bakare, Assistant General Secretary, and Morakinyo Akintola, state PRO.

Wale Adunola, ex-officio, Bakare Idayat, assistant welfare secretary, Ogundare Afolabi, assistant PRO and Sikiru Kareem, assistant treasurer make up the number.
