A notorious kidnapper, Stanley Onoriode Ekemaye, has been arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Ekemaye, was said to have masterminded the kidnap of Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme, a judge with the Benin division of the Appeal Court.

The judge was abducted last October along the Benin-Agbor road by kidnappers who killed her police orderly.

She was eventually freed after two weeks.

The DSS it was learnt, had since been making efforts to apprehend Ekemaye, who was said to have kidnapped and robbed many people.

The efforts by the secret police, it was gathered, yielded result early hours of Tuesday, when they arrested Ekemaye at Okwuzi Egbema in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA in Rivers State.

The kidnap kingpin is said to have been coordinating robbery and kidnap operations around Delta, Edo and Rivers for years.
