Four die in Lagos building collapse

Four people have been reportedly killed in a collapsed building in Magodo area of Lagos.

The incident occurred during the heavy downpour in several parts of the state.

The victims, according to reports, are members of the same family.

The General Manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Dr. Femi Oke-Osayintolu, said the incident occurred at about 8:00 a.m.

According to him, some injured victims trapped in the rubble have been rescued and rushed to a hospital while emergency officials and security operatives were at the scene of the incident to ensure safety.
