The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has arrested one Musa Salihu Ahmed for alleged N2.3 billion fraud.

The commission’s Chairman, Muhuyi Magaji, disclosed this to journalists on Tuesday in Kano.

Magaji said the suspect was picked up at the Aminu Kano International Airport shortly after arriving from Saudi Arabia for allegedly selling 632 government permits for residential plots worth N2.3 billion across the state.

He said: “The suspect, using Lamash as a company, sells the plots at about N2.5 million each to individuals in Challawa in Kumbotso local government area of the state.

“He also sold plots of land at Dawanau in Dawakin Tofa LGA.

“We are currently investigating the suspect on how he was allocated 632 residential plots by the past administration and sold to different individuals in the state.

“He will be arraigned in a court at the end of the investigation.”
