Controversial media personality Kemi Olunloyo has been charged with cybercrime after she published an article on her blog accusing General Overseer of Salvation Ministries Pastor David Ibiyeomie of infidelity.

Kemi whose bail hearing comes up on March 23, 2017, was charged alongside a Daily Post reporter who published her account of the story, which she claims was a letter sent to her by church members of pastor Ibiyeomie alleging that he is corrupt and adulterous.

The investigative journalist was arrested after pastor Ibiyeomie petitioned the police claiming that she (Kemi) criminally defamed him because she posted the letter purportedly sent by his church members.

Moments after she was arrested, Kemi took to her Instagram page saying; “Dear Media, friends, fans. I was driven by the NPF to Port Harcourt on orders of the IG. Pastor David Ibiyeomie says I criminally defamed him because I posted a letter his church member sent to me alleging corruption and adultery.

“Both newsmakers refused to answer the allegations but Ibiyeomie called me several times to threaten me with lawsuits, death from above and misfortune. Church spokesman did the same with Danielle Ogbeche of Daily Post too.”
