Mentally deranged man who hacked 2 school pupils to death arrested

A mentally deranged man who hacked two pupils of the Saint John’s Anglican Primary School, Agodo in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area of Ogun State, to death has been arrested by men of the Ogun State Police Command.

Reports say the alleged mentally deranged man identified as Lekan Adebisi was sighted while trying to make his way out of the area when he was nabbed by some youths.

The suspect reportedly invaded the school at about 11:15a.m during lunch break and killed the two male pupils, identified as Mubarak Kalesowo and Sunday Obituyi (both four years).

The victims who were reportedly in kindergarten class were inflicted with deep machete cuts by the suspect who fled the scene of the attack immediately after he committed the crime.
