NFF Awards: Moses, Oshoala win titles; Okocha, Kanu make Legends XI

Super Eagles and Chelsea forward, Victor Moses was crowned Player of the Year at the maiden Aiteo/Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Awards in Lagos on Monday night.

The Premier League winner beat off competition from Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, and home Eagles star, Anthony Okpotu, to win the title.

Super Falcons and Dalian Quanjian star, Asisat Oshoala, the reigning CAF Women’s Player of the Year, was also crowned the Player of the Year in the women category.

Coach of NPFL champions, Kennedy Boboye won the Men’s Coach of the Year award, while former Super Falcons assistant coach Ann Chiejine bagged the Women’s Coach of the Year award.

Dignitaries at the award Gala, which was held at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, include FIFA President Gianni Infantino, FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura, CAF President Ahmad, Lagos governor Akinwunmi Ambode and several Nigerian football legends.
