“I want the people of Akwa Ibom State and particularly criminals to desist from this act of economic sabotage.

“We are also monitoring unlicensed petroleum stations as stakeholders; we are going to partner with other sister security agencies to ensure that there are no adulterated petroleum products in the state.

“The eight suspects arrested, some of them have been charged to Court, while some are under investigation and will be charged to Court when investigation is completed.”

Ajinla also advised operators of private security guards company that are yet to validate their registration to do so, emphasizing that by next week the command would lock down on all unregistered private guards’ companies in the state.
