Omotola to trekkers: Silly, you’re trekking your futures away

Omotola showed she’s had it for youths who have embraced the new trend of trekking in support of our politicians. She chipped in an icy reprimand on her Twitter handle:

“Silly youths trekking their futures way. You don’t trek to bring awareness to your suffering plights but trek to celebrate politicians? Smh!” she wrote.

The Nollywood veteran actress seems to be more disposed to speaking out against political and social ills nowadays, and her views are spot on. 

On May 11, 2015, she had tweeted a rhetorical question:

“Endless Queues for fuel, No electricity and power surges causing fire outbreaks! WHY?”

Having children that are growing in Nigeria may have been part of the reason the actress is showing serious concern on what is going on in Nigeria. As every parent should.

Kudos to her though.
