Police arrest 3 suspected robbers with bullet wounds in hospital

The Police Command in Enugu State on Wednesday said that it had arrested three armed robbery suspects ridden with bullet wounds through hospitals’ surveillance in Nsukka axis of Enugu State.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) on Friday engaged bandit in a gun duel leaving one dead and many with bullet injures fleeing at about 7:15 p.m. in Odenigwe Road in Nsukka.

The command’s spokesman, Mr Ebere Amaraizu, told NAN in Enugu that the first suspect was arrested following continuous surveillance and information from a public spirited individual at about 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
