Police arrests 16 suspected cultists in Anambra

Police operatives in Anambra State have arrested 16 suspected cultists in the state.

The spokesman for the state police command, Tochukwu Ikenga, who disclosed this in a statement on Saturday in Awka, said 21 others have been declared wanted by the command.

He said the operation followed the resurgence of cult activities in the state. He added that efforts to track down the fleeing cultists are ongoing.
