U.S. senator from Kentucky, Rand Paul has unceremoniously bowed out of the race for the White House after he suspended his campaign for the 2016 presidential elections following the inability of his small-government campaigners to attract voters.

In a statement, Paul said; “It’s been an incredible honor to run a principled campaign for the White House. Today, I will end where I began, ready and willing to fight for the cause of Liberty”.

Paul now becomes the second Republican candidate, after former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee, who also threw in the towel following the aftermath of results from Iowa caucuses on Monday.
There are now 10 Republican candidates in the 2016 race for White House after his withdrawal.

According to Paul, who is now concentrating on winning another U.S. Senate term, he will continue fighting for limited government, criminal justice reform and “reasonable” foreign policy.
