Real reason FBI director McCabe was sacked

A day after Andrew McCabe, the former deputy director of the FBI was sacked by US Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the US Justice Department has stated the real reason he was asked to take a walk.

According to Justice Department’s internal watchdog, McCabe was found to have leaked information to reporters and misled investigators about his actions.

“The FBI expects every employee to adhere to the highest standards of honesty, integrity and accountability,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said.

After his unexpected sack, McCabe said he was being targeted because he is a crucial witness into whether President Donald Trump tried to obstruct the Russia investigation.

McCabe who has frequently been accused of political bias by President Trump had also been deeply involved in the FBI investigations into Hillary Clinton’s use of email and Russia’s alleged meddling in the presidential campaign before he was kicked out.
