Rohr to assist Super Falcons at AWCON 2016

NFF Technical Director, Bitrus Bewarang, has said that the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr will be giving technical assistance to the Super Falcons at the African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) which kicks off on Saturday in Cameroon.

The Super Falcons, who are the current African champions, will jet out to Cameroon on Wednesday to begin their quest of defending the African Women Trophy they won two years ago in Namibia.

Bitrus Bewarang, who will accompany Rohr to AWCON to give technical support to the Florence Omagbemi-led coaching crew of the Super Falcons, also stated that the Super Eagles manager will be with the team during the group stage or later in the competition.

“Rohr who has been helping the team with some talks and lectures will be with the team may be during their group matches or later in the competition. I think his wealth of experience will benefit the team in Cameroon,” Bewarang said.
