President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday received briefing from security chiefs in a meeting with them at the State House, Abuja.
Disclosing this in a tweet on his official Twitter handle, the President’s aide, Bashir Ahmed said, “President @MBuhari currently receiving Security Briefing from Defence Minister, NSA, Service Chiefs and other heads of the security agencies at the State House, Abuja.”
The security briefing is coming ahead of tomorrow, May 29, second term swearing-in of President Buhari.
Spate of killings and other criminal activities across Nigerians have remained a major concern among many Nigerians.
However, calls on Buhari to sack some of his security chiefs or allow those whose tenures have since expired to go, to see if there will beimprovement in the security situation in the country, appeared to have fallen on deaf ears.
