Tinubu at Aso Rock, denies conflict with Buhari, existence of any cabal

In an apparent bid to douse widely held speculations that the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) was enmeshed in divisive quarrels, four chieftains of the party on Monday met with President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso rock. They were Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, party chairman John Oyegun, and acclaimed National leader, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

Addressing media men at the Presidential Villa shortly after the meeting which held behind closed doors, Tinubu denied, among others, any conflict with President Buhari and the existence of a so-called cabal in the Presidency. He also refused to be dragged into any discussions bothering on support for Buhari’s 2019 re-election bid.
