Unruffled by attacks over Zuma’s statue, Okorocha to unveil another sculpture of Liberian President
Despite the barrage of attacks on Rochas Okorocha over the recent erection of a statue in honour of South African President, Jacob Zuma in Imo, emerging report from the state indicate that the governor may be planning to unveil another statue of an African leader.
This time, the governor will be erecting the statue of Liberia’s President, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, according to reports from the state.
Okorocha in a tweet on his twitter handle confirmed that the Liberian leader will be in Imo State for a two day working visit. He however did not say if Johnson-Sirleaf will be accorded the same honour her South African counterpart was accorded.
He said, “The Liberia President, Mrs Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf is set to arrive our dear Imo State for a two-day working visit on Thursday, 9 Nov. 2017.”

The 30-feet Zuma statue in Imo allegedly cost the state, whose pensioners and civil servants are still crying over months of unpaid pension and salaries, a whopping sum.
There have been several allegations of how the governor has continued to waste the state’s meagre resources on projects that have no known economic values to the state.
Okorocha was also recently accused of plotting to spend N800 million on Christmas trees, an allegation he has however denied.

It’s only heartless people that can participate in Nigeria’s politics because it is full of a lot of unspeakable things. Let Okorocha keep lavishing his state’s money on irrelevant things, 2019 is almost here

Okorocha knows what he’s doing, all these are for the best interest of the state, Imo people should let him do whatever he wants but remember his state is currently building reputable relationship with these African presidentd?
