An Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Monday remanded a 30-year-old woman, Bose Okhlua, at Ikoyi Prisons for allegedly killing a co-tenant.

Okhlua appeared before Chief Magistrate Abimbola Awogboro on a charge of murder.

Her plea was not taken by the magistrate, who said the court lacked the jurisdiction to try such cases.

The Prosecutor, Insp. Daniel Ighodalo, told the court that the accused committed the offence on June 4 at 3p.m. at No. 4, Ogunmuyiwa St., Ikate-Itire, Surulere, Lagos.
