“Groomed by the great Nelson and Winnie Mandela, he is the ONLY SA leader that speaks sense today. He is a friend to other Africans and detests xenophobia.”

Fani-Kayode’s comments came after President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa sent three special envoys each to seven African countries to deliver messages of pan-African unity and solidarity following xenophobic attacks in the former apartheid enclave.

Presidential spokesperson, Khusela Diko, who confirmed the development on Sunday said the special envoys will reassure fellow African countries that South Africa is committed to the ideals of pan-African unity and solidarity.
