Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has fully recovered from coronavirus.

The governor tested positive for coronavirus last month and immediately went into isolation.

Mohammed, who announced his recovery from the disease on his Twitter handle Thursday, said he had tested negative for the disease twice.

He thanked those who supported him with prayers during the intervening period.

He also commended the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and religious leaders within and outside the state for their support during his incapacitation.

The governor said: “Alhamdulillah. I just received the green light. My second test for #COVID19 returned negative. I thank you all for your prayers and support even while I was in isolation. Most importantly, all the praises and thanks be to Allah – the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. #GreaterBauchi.
